Getting There

Hotel Kolping is located on the hillside below Mount Tâmpa, within walking distance of Brașov’s historic city center.

By Air:
The nearest major airport is Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP), located about 160 km south of Brașov. From the airport, Brașov can be reached by direct train (approx. 3 hours) or by shuttle/road transport (approx. 2.5 hours, depending on traffic).

By Train:
Brașov is well connected by rail to Bucharest and other major Romanian cities. 

By Car:
Brașov is accessible via the A3 and DN1/E60 routes from Bucharest. On-site parking is available at Hotel Kolping.

Walking from the City Center:
The hotel is approximately a 15–20 minute walk from Brașov’s central square (Piața Sfatului), following marked pedestrian paths up the lower slopes of Mount Tâmpa.

Local Transport:
Taxis and ride-hailing services (e.g., Bolt, Uber) are widely available in Brașov and provide convenient access to the hotel.
