The Impact Workshop 2026 will take place in Brașov, Romania, on June 8–12, 2026, continuing the format established in previous years: small, focused meetings designed to support open exchange within the planetary impact community.
The main focus of the workshop is planetary impacts, but we will also welcome contributions from related fields, such as numerical modelling, crater geology, shock physics, meteorite studies, and spacecraft observations. Attendance will be limited to 70 participants to maintain an interactive environment.
The primary purpose of the workshop is to initiate new discussions and foster new collaborations. To support this goal, the program will allocate as much time as possible for open dialogue, extended question periods, and informal interaction.
